Dr. Megan Rhodes Victor (PhD William & Mary) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Queens College, CUNY (NYC). As an archaeologist, her research examines the physical remains of everyday interactions. She explores this through examinations of 18th and 19th century taverns and saloons and through archaeogaming – the intersection of archaeology and video games. An avid gamer herself, Victor loves the ways that her passion for archaeology, for research, and for gaming can all intersect in her work! She is currently exploring both archaeology and notions of gender within the Elder Scrolls IP (including the MMO, Elder Scrolls Online, in which she runs a 500-person guild).
