Adam Antor most recently served as the Head Esports Coach at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he helped launch Aquinas’ first varsity esports program, a 33-student athletic program under the Aquinas College Athletic Department. The Aquinas Esports program did not spend much time before leaving its mark on the national stage, when in Fall 2019, under the direction of Adam, the Aquinas Rocket League team finished 2nd in the country among all varsity programs after earning a trip to the NACE National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
Adam served on the West Michigan Sports Commission’s Esports Task Force and has aided Steelcase and Herman Miller in their research on the gaming industry and continues to be an expert for high schools and colleges exploring esports.
In early 2018, while serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at West Catholic High School, Adam launched a high school esports program there and secured a donation of over $30,000 to build the first high school esports lab in the state of Michigan.
Along with his prior experiences in coaching and growing esports in West Michigan, Antor spends significant time traveling the country to national esports events as a professional esports photographer. His esports travels have taken him to events in Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Anaheim, Columbus, Atlanta, and St. Louis.
