1. Be honest about how you’re feeling
If you are experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, a fever (high temperature) or chills, then put your social plans on hold and get yourself ready to self isolate for 7 days. Don’t worry though, with rest, healthy food and plenty of water, you’ll be back gaming in no time!
2. Keep things clean
This goes for your hands, your equipment, and your surroundings. Using hand sanitizer is a must while disinfecting controllers, keyboards, and surfaces before and after a game is a sure way to play well!
3. Greet your friends
Handshakes are out, but touching elbows, tapping feet and bowing are in! Think about each other’s personal space and choose what is appropriate for you! Don’t feel silly about it, tell your friends what your preferred greeting is and make a thing of it!
4. Keep your distance and respect each other’s space
Giving everyone a little space is no bad thing. Leaving a chair in between you and your friends doesn’t mean you don’t like them, in fact, the opposite is true!
5. Cover your cough and catch your sneeze
If you do need to cough or sneeze, just do the right thing and cover your mouth. Ideally, cough into a bent elbow and sneeze into a tissue before disposing of it. It’s all common sense, just be sure to use it!
We want you all to enjoy gaming throughout these uncertain times, but more than anything we want you to be well, so we can all get back to normal as soon as possible!
