Ritual Motion is beyond thrilled to have hit another milestone with passing $700,000 in committed investments! We welcome all of our investors to our community. We are well on our way to reaching our goal and have been working furiously behind the scenes to continue to build out GUILD. To that end we are pleased to announce the addition of two new team members.

We’re excited to welcome Melanie Risley as the company’s first VP of Strategy and Operations, Ritual Motion GUILD. Melanie will be leading the overall development and community growth efforts for the company’s live video platform GUILD (Gamers United In Live Discussion).

“We are so excited to have Melanie join the Ritual Motion Family,” said Dana Paul, Co-Founder and CEO of Ritual Motion. “Melanie brings years of experience of community building and awareness. As VP of Strategy and Operations Melanie will help take Ritual Motion GUILD to the next level.”

Melanie is a passionate people connector and event specialist. She comes to Ritual Motion from the scholastic esports provider PlayVS where she worked on a multitude of projects including the Game Changers, an initiative to inspire and empower communities of gamers with diverse backgrounds who had been previously underrepresented among the industry. An educator first, Melanie was responsible for setting the bar for esports coach training and development. She developed and managed a curriculum including webinar sessions, PlayVS Academy, and is always keen on educating everyone around her for the better.

Additionally, Ritual Motion is excited to announce Caelus McKeel as the company’s new Community Manager. In this role Caelus will be representing the Ritual Motion brand to its community of gamers, managing the strategy and operations for the brand’s social media platforms including Twitter, Discord, TikTok, Instagram and others.

Caelus comes to Ritual Motion from Femme Gaming, a community organization which supports and promote female gamers, where she was Marketing and Communications Manager. In addition to being a passionate gamer she has been an advocate for women and inclusivity in gaming. As an undergraduate at Florida Southern College she laid the path for a more welcoming environment for women in collegiate esports as one of only two women on the campus esports team. While there, she served as the Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer for the team, Mocs Esports, as well as being a varsity athlete and eventual team captain. Caelus graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a concentration in Digital Media.

“We’re beyond excited to add Caelus to the Ritual Motion team,” said Crystal Mills, VP of Content at Ritual Motion. “Our community has been growing rapidly since the launch of GUILD, and Caelus’ background, creativity, and experience will help continue to bridge the incredible connection between the Ritual Motion brand and the gaming space.”
