Envy, home of Overwatch League’s Dallas Fuel and Call of Duty’s Dallas Empire, has introduced The Envy Gaming Empowerment Grant. The program, administered by the esports organization, will “give North Texas middle schools and high schools the opportunity to apply for funding, gaming hardware, and ongoing education curricula needed to start or grow an extracurricular esports program.”

Together with Predator Gaming, the organization plans to initially focus efforts on four areas:

  • Development of STEAM initiatives at the middle school and high school level.
  • Bettering gamer health – cognitive, mental, and physical.
  • Delivering joy to children receiving medical care.
  • Improving the lives of those that share in North Texas as a hometown.
