Esports Organization Andbox has announced a partnership between USAA Insurance and the organization’s Call of Duty team New York Subliners (NYSL). The multi-year agreement will have USAA’s brand featured on the team’s in-game and physical jerseys. In addition, the two will collaborate to include an exclusive esports program at the United States Military Academy in West Point.

Kai Mathey, Head of Partnerships at Andbox, said: “We’re very proud to be partnering with USAA to connect them with members of the military through the power of New York esports. Together we will tap into the excitement of Call of Duty and the New York Subliners’ incredible players to bring the deep-felt appreciation we have for members of the military to life both through both in-person and digital experiences.”

In the program, NYSL players and coaching staff will practice and train with cadets, who represent Army West Point Esports in their own Call of Duty team. Additionally, the two will collaborate to feature digital content featuring NYSL players as well as an online sweepstakes with exclusive prizes.

Harvey Chang, USAA Leader Marketing Manager, stated: “As we expand our presence in the Call of Duty League, working with teams like the NYSL will allow USAA to create unique experiences and benefits for the military gaming community. In addition to supporting all fans, helping to foster a greater working relationship between NYSL and West Point Esports will be a focus.”

The partnership will kick off during this week’s NYSL Home Series.
